A complementary
feed for horses and ponies,
providing nutritional support to
maintain fertility in stallions and
mares.
Key Benefits:
-
Maintains fertility by
supporting ova production.
-
Maintains the
production of viable, enduring
spermatozoa - important for artificial
insemination and conception.
-
Contains essential
vitamins to maintain blood flow to all
areas of the reproductive organs.
-
Contains bio-available
sources of essential (food grade) omega
3 fats to support ova and sperm
production in breeding horses.
-
Contains high levels of
bio-available zinc - essential for
fertility.
-
Contains yeast
cultures, prebiotics and MT.X+
Microscopic Binder to aid the natural
expulsion of antagonists found in feed
and the environment.
-
Helps maintain cell
membranes of both sperm and ova for
healthy fertilisation.
-
Contains 10 active
ingredients, including: omega 3 fatty
acids, glutamine, vitamin B complex,
zinc chelate, concentrated yeast and oat
derived oligosaccharides, MT.X+
microscopic binder, plus Oatinol
derived: antioxidants, polar lipids,
beta glucans and galactolipids.
-
Contains the Oatinol
Delivery System to maintain a healthy
digestive tract and a high rate of
absorption of essential nutricines,
vitamins and trace elements.
Through the addition of the
following specific nutricines, Fertility Aid
provides a complementary nutritional support
for breeding stallions and mares.

Why We Use It
|
Omega 3 Fatty Acids
|
Essential fatty acids (EPA & DHA) for maintaining the production of
prostaglandins, which are found in large quantities in semen. Inadequate
levels of certain prostaglandins have been linked to poor sperm quality,
poor motility and low counts. Low levels of EPA and DHA have also been
noted in the plasma of infertile mares. EPA and DHA are necessary to
support normal, healthy oestrous, the production of large fertile ova
and maintaining the smooth tissue of the uterus to aid both lipid
membrane quality and conception.
|
Glutamine
|
Glutamine is an amino acid normally found in plentiful supply
in the body. Under certain stressful conditions, such as conception,
pregnancy and exercise, up to 50% depletion can occur, transforming it’s
status into a conditional, essential amino acid. This process can
challenge cell membrane integrity and affect fertility.
|
Vitamin B Complex
|
B vitamins support healthy blood flow to all areas. The blood supply
of the mare is very important for the development of embryos and
foetuses after conception.
|
Zinc Chelate
|
Zinc provides nutritional support to the normal production of
natural reproductive hormones in mares and the healthy production of
sperm in stallions.
|
Concentrated Yeast & Oat Derived Oligosaccharides
|
Oligosaccharides provide a feed source for beneficial bacteria and
support the natural expulsion of antagonists found in feed and the
environment.
|
MT.X+ Microscopic Binder
|
MT.X+ is a blend of microscopic absorbent compounds that aid the
natural expulsion of antagonists found in feed and the environment.
|
Contains the
Oatinol®
Delivery System
For all of the above
elements to be utilised, they have to be
absorbed from the horses’ digestive tract.
Oatinol supplies natural antioxidants, polar
lipids, beta glucans and galactolipid
emulsifiers, required to maintain gut cell
integrity, support the immune system and aid
the absorption of nutricines, vitamins and
trace elements. Natural antioxidants are
essential to maintain the viability of sperm
in semen that contains a high level of
destructive free radicals.
Oatinol - Galactolipid Natural Emulsifiers
|
Galactolipids are a combination of sugar and fat molecules that help
establish the perfect medium for enzyme activity in the gut to absorb feed components.
|
Oatinol - Natural
Tocotrienol Antioxidants
|
Tocotrienol antioxidants are found naturally in oat bran. This
tocotrienol form of vitamin E is 40 to 60 times more readily recycled in
membrane systems and supports tissue integrity.
|
Oatinol - Oat Derived
Beta Glucans
|
Beta glucans provide nourishment for beneficial fibre degrading
microbes and helps maintain a high level of natural immunity.
|
Oatinol - Polar Lipids
|
Polar lipids are found in high concentrations in cell membranes and
are essential for tissue integrity and the controlled passage of
materials into and out of cells.
